CPE Supervisor


Chaplain Pamela Lazor is a Presbyterian Chaplain in the Spiritual Care Department at Cedars-Sinai. She is certified by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE, Inc.) as a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Supervisor and supervises the CPE Program in the Spiritual Care Department at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

She completed her CPE internship, residency and supervisory training at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Health System. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and systematic theology and an honors degree in Systematic Theology from Rhodes University in South Africa and a master's of divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.

Chaplain Lazor served for twelve years at Los Angeles area Presbyterian Churches as a director of children, youth, college students, families and visitation ministries and in preaching and teaching capacities. Her chaplaincy experience includes psychiatry, oncology, neonatal, transplant (liver and kidney) and general hospital ministry. She served for three years as a Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor in the Spiritual Care Department at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and for two years as manager and CPE supervisor of the Spiritual Care Department at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital. 

A native of South Africa, Chaplain Lazor is ordained in the Presbyterian Church in the United States.
