Amir Aljilani, MD

Amir Aljilani, MD, is a hospitalist in Cedar-Sinai’s Inpatient Specialty Program.

His research experience is varied, and includes the exploration of risk prediction models for survivorship of heart valve replacement surgery patients, as well as a clinical study examining the functional recovery of patients with bipolar disorder.

Dr. Aljilani earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where he held multiple leadership roles, including as the school’s representative to the American College of Physicians. He served his internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Aljilani is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
