Daniel H. Cohn, PhD

Daniel H. Cohn, PhD is a Professor in the Departments of Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology and Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is Co-Director of the International Skeletal Dysplasia Registry at Cedars-Sinai. His laboratory conducts research on the molecular basis and mechanisms of disease in the skeletal dysplasias, and his group has written more than 100 articles on this topic.
Dr. Cohn earned his bachelor's degree in Aquatic Biology from University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned his doctorate degree in Marine Biology from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at University of California, San Diego. His postdoctoral research was conducted in the Department of Pathology at the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Cohn is certified in Clinical Molecular Genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics.
