Dawn Eliashiv, MD is Medical Director of the Epilepsy Program and Director of Neurophysiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology, Dr. Eliashiv has published articles in several peer-reviewed journals, including the Clinical Journal of Neurophysiology, Journal of Neurology, Neurology, Journal of Clinical Neuroophthalmology and Bone Marrow Transplantation. In addition, Dr. Eliashiv serves as Ad Hoc Reviewer for Annals of Neurology and Journal of Nuclear Medicine.
Dr. Eliashiv is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society and the American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring. She also serves on the Medical Advisory Committee for the Epilepsy Foundation of America, and she is a member of the executive board of directors of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society (Western Branch).
Dr. Eliashiv received her bachelor's degree from Tel Aviv University and her medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv. She completed her internship at Shaare Zedek Medical Center, Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem. In addition, Dr. Eliashiv completed residencies at Hadassah University and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy at UCLA Medical Center.
