Jason S. Cohen, MD, FACS
General and Laparoscopic Surgery
Dr. Cohen's clinical expertise is in all areas of surgical oncology with a particular interest in breast cancer, cancers of the gastrointestinal tract and tumors of the thyroid and parathyroid glands and nutrition in cancer care and prevention. He is an attending surgeon at the Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschini Comprehensive Cancer Institute with clinical and teaching responsibilities and is involved in basic science and clinical research, with an emphasis on the genetic aspects of breast cancer.
Dr. Cohen, a native of New York City, earned his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York, Binghamton. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, where he also completed his residency in general surgery. Dr. Cohen completed his fellowship in surgical oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
