Jeremy A. Falk, MD
Associate Director, Lung Transplant Center
Jeremy A. Falk, MD, joined Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as Associate Director of the Lung Transplant Center in 2006. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, sleep medicine and critical care.
Dr. Falk has served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. While there, he served as Medical Director of Respiratory Care.
Dr. Falk's clinical research interests include lung transplantation, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung volume reduction surgery, pulmonary fibrosis and alpha-one antitrypsin deficiency.
In addition to many lectures and presentations, Dr. Falk has been an author of numerous articles on lung disease and pulmonary blood flow that have been published in the Journal of Heart Lung Transplant and the American Journal of Respiratory Critical Care Medicine.
He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the Laennac Society of Philadelphia and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.
Dr. Falk earned his bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in general medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he also served as Chief Resident in internal medicine. He completed a fellowship in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine at Temple University Hospital. He was a finalist in the first Annual Respiratory Disease Young Investigators' Forum in Washington, DC.
