Mark Mehrdad Davidson, MD is a gastroenterologist in the Colorectal Cancer Center at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
His focus is diagnostic/therapeutic upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, treatment of hemorrhoids, management of chronic liver diseases, including pre-transplant and post-transplant care, and Hepatitis B and C therapy.
Dr. Davidson is board certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the Los Angeles County Medical Association. He has written abstracts in peer-reviewed journals including Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Science and has lectured and presented at scientific and surgical conferences. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards and is fluent in Persian and medical Spanish.
After graduating cum laude from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor’s of arts in cell and molecular biology, Dr. Davidson earned his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine from the UCLA/West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology from Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Los Angeles.
