Matthew L. Finerman is a board certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon at the Cedars-Sinai Sinus Center. He has been Chief of Otolaryngology at Cedars-Sinai and the California Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Finerman is trained in allergies of the ear, nose and throat, including medical management, endoscopic sinus surgery and treatment of tumors of the head and neck (thyroid, parathyroid and parotid glands). He also is experienced in balloon sinuplasty techniques as well as computer image guided surgery for 3-dimensinal visualization of vital structures during surgery of the sinuses. Dr. Finerman also specializes in snoring and sleep and voice and swallowing disorders. A much sought after speaker, he lectures frequently on these and other subjects.
In addition to being a past president and current member of the Los Angeles Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Finerman is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, the Sinus and Allergy Health Partnership, the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association and the Los Angeles County Medical Association.
Dr. Finerman earned his bachelor's degree in bacteriology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his medical degree from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University. He completed a residency in head and neck surgery and a residency in general surgery at UCLA.
