Sarah E. C. Greene, MD
Sarah E. C, Greene, MD is a pediatric hospitalist in the Pediatrics Department at Cedars-Sinai.
After earning her bachelor’s degree Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, Dr. Greene earned her medical degree at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (VUSM) in Nashville, Tennessee. At her graduation from VUSM, she was awarded the Kaufman Prize, which recognizes the student who most “embodies humaneness, dedication and unselfish services in the study of medicine and will apply these qualities to the practice of medicine”. She went on to complete a residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Throughout her training she has been active in community outreach and volunteerism.
Dr. Greene’s research experience has included investigating barriers to vaccinations in underserved populations, necrotizing enterocolitis in premature infants and bronchiolitis. In addition, Dr. Greene has worked on projects in medical education, most recently exploring the role of team-based learning in pediatric resident education.
Dr. Greene is fluent in Spanish.
