Timothy Davis, MD
Timothy T. Davis, MD is a physiatrist at the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain medicine. He specializes in the non-operative care of spinal disorders and interventional pain management techniques and electrodiagnostic studies.
Dr. Davis is a leader in the research of percutaneous treatments of degenerative disc disease. He also works extensively in the field of intraoperative electrodiagnostic studies and neuromodulation for chronic neuropathic pain. He has published and presented at national and international conferences for spinal research.
Dr. Davis has extensive experience as a physician for traditional and extreme sport athletes. He is an active member of the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and American Academy of Pain Medicine.
Dr. Davis is a graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed an internship in general surgery at Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of California, Los Angeles and the West Los Angeles Veterans Administration. During his residency, he was a member of the spinal cord injury team at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center and the Disabled Veterans Sports Clinic.
