James Min, MD is Director of Cardiac Imaging Research and Co-Director of Cardiac Imaging. He also is Associate Professor of Medicine, Imaging and Biomedical Sciences. At Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Min has a joint appointment in the Department of Imaging and the Department of Biomedical Sciences in the Biomedical Research Imaging Institute.

Dr. Min has served as the Principal Investigator and director of the CCTA core laboratories for several multicenter trials of CCTA, including the ACCURACY, PICTURE and DeFACTO trials, at Cedars-Sinai.  He has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts that have focused on numerous aspects of cardiac imaging, including diagnostic performance, radiation dose reduction, prognosis and cost-effectiveness. 

Dr. Min has served as section chairs for the development of the Certification Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT) examination. He is the president of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT), serves on the Board of Directors for the SCCT and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
