Mi-Yeoung Jo, PsyD, ABPP

Clinical Neuropsychology

Mi-Yeoung Jo, PsyD, ABPP is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist at Cedars-Sinai’s Department of Rehabilitation.  Dr. Jo’s clinical interests include pediatric and adult neuropsychological assessments as well as rehabilitation issues in cancer survivors.  She has worked with patients across the lifespan in various medical settings presenting with a variety of medical and neurological conditions, including, but not limited to neurodevelopmental disorders, brain tumors, epilepsy/seizures, dementia, stroke, and traumatic brain injury.  

Dr. Jo earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University and obtained her master’s and doctor of psychology degrees from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles.  She completed her psychology internship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and spent one year in a research and clinical neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia/University of Pennsylvania working with adult brain tumor patients.  Dr. Jo completed a two-year neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship through the Bergen Neuropsychology Group that included rotations through Weill-Cornell Medical Center and Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center.  

She has published in the areas of brain tumors, movement disorders, and memory disorders.  Past hospital and faculty positions include appointments at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center in New York City.
