Sheri Koplik, MD
Sheri Koplik, MD is a cardiologist at the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. She is board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine and echocardiography.
Dr. Koplik’s clinical interest is in all aspects of cardiovascular disease with a focus on cardiovascular imaging, including echocardiography, nuclear medicine and cardiac computed tomography (CT). She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians, the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography as well as the American Medical Association.
In addition to clinical cardiology, Dr. Koplik’s research interests focus on lifestyle and its effect on cardiovascular disease. In addition to poster presentations at national conferences, her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, such as the American Journal of Cardiology.
As an undergraduate at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Koplik earned a bachelor’s in psychobiology. She earned her medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine, New York State/American Program in Tel Aviv, Israel. Her internal medicine internship and residency were completed at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Program. She served as a hospitalist in the electrophysiology department at Kaiser Permanent Los Angeles Medical Center followed by a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Texas A & M University.
