Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Coordinator
Terri Mauricio is the Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Coordinator at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a DHS designated and ACS verified Level I Trauma Center. Her responsibilities include continuous review of patient care and the trauma system within the hospital to assure high quality of trauma care.
She has over 15 years of clinical experience in Trauma and Emergency Medicine. Terri has been employed at Cedars-Sinai since 2004.
Terri is in the process of developing Cedars-Sinai’s Trauma Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Coordinator Operations Manual.
Ms. Mauricio currently sits as a member of the Trauma Performance Improvement Committee at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and is an active member of the American Trauma Society and Society of Trauma Nurses. In the past, she sat as a member of the Emergency Department’s Educational Committee and was a member of the Code White team for STEMI patients in the Cardiovascular Intervention Center – Cedars-Sinai.
