Dechu Puliyanda MD
Pediatric Nephrology
Dechu Puliyanda, MD, is a board-certified pediatric nephrologist in the Pediatric Nephrology and Kidney Transplant Program at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Puliyanda is an astute clinician with a special interest in pediatric kidney transplantation. Her research has focused on viral infections in the post- transplant period, and surrogate markers for renal transplant rejection. She has presented at a number of national and international conferences and is an author of several peer-reviewed publications in her field. In addition, she has a very strong commitment to providing comprehensive care to children and adolescents with chronic kidney disease. |  |
After receiving her medical degree in India, Dr. Puliyanda completed her internship and residency at the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. She completed her fellowship at the Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston.
