Jeremy Perlman MD FAAP
Pediatric Hospitalist
Jeremy Perlman, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric hospitalist in Pediatric Services at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Perlman's main clinical and research interests are the use of information technology in clinical practice and quality improvement. He was a research fellow with the National Science Foundation in California and Japan and with Future Generations Peru in Lima, and a research analyst at Cornell University in New York.
Dr. Perlman has published in the Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and edited the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Nursery Guidelines at Olive View-University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center.
With a commitment to public service, Dr. Perlman was a volunteer primary care physician in Oaxaca, Mexico, and in Mumbai, India, where he cared for orphans with HIV.
Dr. Perlman earned his bachelor's degree summa cum laude from Amherst College in Massachusetts and his medical degree with honors from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Perlman is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, with which he is certified in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). He is certified with the American Heart Association in BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advance Life Support).
