Attending Physician, The Pain Center and the Acute Rehabilitation Unit

Kenith K. Paresa, MD is an attending physician at The Pain Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and he is an attending physician at the Acute Rehabilitation Unit in Cedars-Sinai's Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Paresa also serves as a clinical instructor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Paresa is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and American Association on Electrodiagnostic Medicine. At Cedars-Sinai, he is a physician representative on the Nutritional Support Advisory Committee and the Performance Improvement Committee, and he is Vice Chair of the Post-Acute Care Committee.

Dr. Paresa received his bachelor's degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and his medical degree from the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. He completed an internship in preliminary medicine at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at UCLA, where he served as Chief Resident.
