Consultant, Mexico Relations
Margo Torres, BSN, is the Consultant for Mexico Relations at the Center for Health and Telemedicine at Cedars-Sinai, and is based in Mexico City, Mexico. She coordinates the medical arrangements for patients from Mexico, as well as being the liaison between physicians in Mexico and Cedars-Sinai, advocating continuing education and collegial professional exchanges. She also promotes Cedars-Sinai's specialized patient services and medical specialty centers.
Ms. Torres was the executive director of a well known medical outpatient and ambulatory surgery clinic in Mexico City before joining the International Health and Telemedicine Department.
Having earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing at the University of Washington, Ms. Torres remains enrolled in continuing education. She is bilingual and participates in several Mexican community organization boards promoting health and education.
