Meir Jonathon Solnik, MD is Director of the Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery, Director of the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Center and an attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Solnik's primary clinical and research interests include the use of advanced laparoscopic techniques for gynecologic surgery. His studies have been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Journal of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
Dr. Solnik is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Solnik has earned recognition as one of America's top doctors in obstetrics and gynecology by U.S. News & Word Report, Health, in conjunction with Castle Connolly Ltd.
Dr. Solnik received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis and his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Emory University School of Medicine and a minimally invasive surgery fellowship at Magee-Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh.
