Orly Szerman MA
Orly graduated with honors with master's degrees in Educational Psychology and Organizational Development from California State University, Northridge. She received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Southern California and is an award-winning advertising executive. She received her professional coaching certification in Ontological/Integral Coaching from renowned New Ventures West and is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).
As a Work & Life Matters EAP Specialist, bilingual and bicultural in English and Spanish, Orly provides assessment, referral, case management and short term problem solving and counseling to Cedars-Sinai Health System employees and family members. In addition to management and HR consultations, she serves as a member of the Cedars-Sinai Health System safety committee and is involved in developing organizational strategies for responding to large scale disasters.
Orly's unique mix of formal training in psychology, business administration, organizational development, ontological/integral coaching and non-violent communication adds a multifaceted dimension to her work. A published author and sought-after speaker, she serves as faculty member of the Academy for Family Coach Training and is a former board member of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association.
