Siamak Tabib, MD
Siamak Tabib, MD is an attending physician with the Division of Gastroenterology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Tabib is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Gastroenterology. Dr. Tabib also attends and teaches on the Liver Transplant and Metabolic Support Team services. He is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Tabib's main clinical and research interests include preventive medicine, particularly colon cancer prevention. He also has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal malignancies through the use of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Tabib has written numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and has presented his findings in both national and international conferences.
Dr. Tabib received his bachelor's degree from UCLA and his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed his internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and completed his fellowship at the UCLA Medical Center. He is an active member of several professional societies including the American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Tabib is board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology, as well as internal medicine.
