Clinical Care Health Screenings and Services

Cedars-Sinai provides clinical care, services and health screenings to individuals in need, both at the medical center as well as in the community at local clinics and by mobile vans.

Ambulatory Care Center

Staffed by medical and surgical residents and supervised by Cedars-Sinai faculty and attending physicians, the Ambulatory Care Center provides preventive, acute and ongoing care.

Anxiety and Depression Screening Program

At least once a year, Cedars-Sinai provides an anxiety and depression screening program. This program offers a caring, non-threatening, secure and comfortable place for community members to learn about referral and treatment options for depressive disorders. COACH for Kids and Their FamiliesĀ®

COACH for Kids and Their Families is a mobile medical unit that brings no-cost, quality healthcare services to low-income youngsters. Staffed by Cedars-Sinai professionals, COACH for Kids visits economically disadvantaged neighborhoods in Los Angeles County. Preventive care, such as immunizations and screenings, are available in addition to diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses.Ā 

Community and Free Clinics

Cedars-Sinai medical residents provide staffing for clinics treating common ambulatory conditions and chronic medical diseases, as well as comprehensive care and urgent care services. Clinics include the Los Angeles Free Clinic, Los Angeles Mission, Oscar Romero Clinic, Valley Community Clinic, and Venice Family Clinic.

Community Health Screenings

Cedars-Sinai, in collaboration with other community organizations, provides free and low-cost health screenings to community members. Screenings include diabetes, cholesterol and hypertension. The Ruth and Harry Roman Emergency Department provides comprehensive, leading-edge emergency care to a diverse adult and pediatric population.

Senior Flu and Pneumococcal Immunization Program

Cedars-Sinai provides free flu and pneumococcal immunizations for seniors and persons in high-risk groups. Programs are held at senior centers, community and religious organizations. Contact (310) 423-9581 for additional information.
