The Department of Neurological Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center offers a clinical elective that is open to fourth year students from United States LCME approved medical schools.
The clinical clerkships allow students considering a residency in neurological surgery to assist faculty and the current residents in all aspects of the neurosurgery service through our three neurological surgery services: tumors, vascular and pediatrics, and spine. The clerkship is highly recommended for students interested in applying to the Cedars-Sinai Department of Neurological Surgery Residency Program.
We will begin accepting student applications in March and will begin scheduling students in June of every year. The rotations are four weeks in length.
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a participant of VSAS. To apply, please visit the AAMC’s VSAS website at: www.aamc.org/vsas for complete application instructions.
