All complete applications which are submitted by our deadline of November 1 will be considered. This consists of an ERAS application, personal statement, Dean's letter, USMLE scores, medical school transcript and a minimum of three letters of recommendation - one being from a practicing obstetrician/gynecologist. Please be advised that we require a passing score in the USMLE Step 2 examinations prior to the (National Resident Matching Program) NRMP match deadline since this is a requirement for starting residency. A recent photo is helpful. Graduates from international medical schools should also submit a copy of their current ECFMG (Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certificate and the Applicant Status Letter from the Medical Board of California.
We offer six categorical positions for the new intern class. Candidates are selected through the NRMP (National Resident Matching Program) for interviews.
Our program is very competitive and the number of applications far exceeds the number of individuals we are able to interview. Profiles of the entering class of 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2011-2012, 2012- 2013 are depicted in Table 3a-d
