Dentistry Residency Training Program
Thank you for your interest in Cedars-Sinai's General Practice Residency in Dentistry. Residency training and education is one of the major missions of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. As one of the largest nonprofit medical centers in the United States, a dental program is an important part of our service to the community.
The clinical part of the program involves all phases of dentistry in an outpatient clinic setting, as well as in the Medical Center, operating rooms and emergency department. The didactic aspect of the program involves a core curriculum of basic courses given at the UCLA School of Dentistry, as well as lectures and seminars given by Cedars-Sinai's attending dental staff. In addition, there are rotations for the dental residents in anesthesia, pain control, emergency medicine and internal medicine.
The program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. For information on salaries and benefits, visit the Compensation and Benefits page. Dental residents are treated as regular PGY1 residents.
