Obstetrics and Gynecology Faculty
There are approximately 20 faculty and 70 attendings who serve as voluntary faculty. The faculty include maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrine and infertility, urogynecology, and gynecologic oncology specialists. In Labor and Delivery, the residents are responsible for managing both full-time faculty and private patients' labor with the attending physician supervision. The residents operate with the private physicians and are responsible for the patients' postoperative care in consultation with the attending physician. The attending staff delegates resident responsibility with respect to the resident's level of training and experience in the following areas: maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, and gynecology/minimally invasive surgery.
