Your Insurance Options With Healthcare Reform

How Does Healthcare Reform Affect Me and My Family?

As you probably know, the Affordable Care Act means major changes to the health insurance market, especially if your coverage isn’t purchased through your employer.

You should know that you can continue to get coverage from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and our physicians under your non-employer provided health insurance, but you may need to act soon.

The open enrollment period for non-employer provided health insurance is Oct. 1, 2013, through March 31, 2014.

At Cedars-Sinai, we believe world-class healthcare should be accessible to everyone. That's why we are contracted with more than 100 types of insurance plans, including private insurance, Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO), Point of Service Plans (POS), Exclusive Provider Organizations (EPO), Medicare and Medi-Cal.
