October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Cedars-Sinai will host the following events, free and open to the public, to support those whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.

Registration is required and space is limited.


The Heart of Attention: Mindfulness Meditation for Health

Insight meditation, or mindfulness, is a living practice of being present with experience as it comes and goes, with steady attentiveness and balance. Speaker Lisa Kring, mindfulness instructor of InsightLA, share her secrets for using mindfulness meditation to promote better health and relieve stress.

Yoga for the Breast Cancer Patient

In a specialized yoga session, your instructor leads a series of poses designed to strengthen your body and quiet your mind.

Look Good, Feel Better Workshop

This workshop tailors techniques, including makeup and head covering, for cancer patients undergoing treatment.
