Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

We understand that being diagnosed with breast cancer is an overwhelming experience. Patients fear the treatment as well as the disease. Changes in body image may not be your primary concern, however they are vital to us, as they impact on your overall health and well-being. For this reason, our plastic surgeons work with the entire Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center - A Project of Women's Guild team throughout the diagnostic and treatment process. Through their input during the Weekly Case Review, our plastic surgeons are part of your treatment team long before you meet them.

Reconstruction techniques include implants (silicone or saline) and autogenous reconstruction, where tissue from either your abdomen (tummy tuck) or back is used to recreate your breast. Our plastic surgeons differ from other community plastic surgeons in that they have the expertise, interest and commitment to do both simple and complex breast reconstruction. With their skill, the Breast Center is able to offer you an enormous number of aesthetic options.
