Radiation Oncology

Radiation oncologists are experts in radiation therapy, a treatment offered to many of our breast cancer patients to reduce recurrence. This approach frequently allows women with breast cancer to save their breast (through breast conservation surgery). There are a number of treatment options ranging from standard external beam therapy to partial breast irradiation, which can substantially shorten your course of treatment.
