Henry Chen, MD, MBA is a board-certified otolaryngologist, head and neck surgeon, with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates. He also is a member of the Cedars-Sinai Sinus Center and a member of the Pediatric Surgical Services at Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Chen earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Rice University, graduating magna cum laude and with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and also earned master's of business administration from Rice University as part of a combined MD/MBA program. Dr. Chen completed his residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Colorado, where he served as chief resident in the Department of Otolaryngology. Following his residency, Dr. Chen completed a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at Albany Medical Center and the New England Laser and Cosmetic Surgery Center. Throughout his fellowship, he acquired significant experience in surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures for comprehensive facial rejuvenation as well as facial reconstructive surgery for traumatic and congenital causes.
Dr. Chen is a member of various professional organizations, including the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He has published articles and presented nationally on a variety of topics related to plastic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck. During his residency program, Dr. Chen also took an active role in academic affairs, serving on the residency review, selection, and curriculum committees for the Department of Otolaryngology.
