Elizabeth (Betty) Kim, MD is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing with Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates.
Dr. Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Washington, graduating cum laude. She received her medical doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Medicine and graduated with honors as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical society. She completed her residency in plastic surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Before joining Cedars-Sinai Medical Group, Dr. Kim was in private practice for plastic and reconstructive surgery. Apart from her clinical practice, she serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. Her research has been published in plastic surgery textbooks and journals, including the Annals of Plastic Surgery, and she has presented on blepharoplasty techniques and breast reconstruction at regional and national conferences. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
