Jennifer Anger, MD, MPH
Jennifer Anger, MD, MPH is a board certified urologist with Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates and a member of the Center for Women's Continence and Pelvic Health at Cedars-Sinai.
Dr. Anger graduated with high distinction from University of California at Berkeley and earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. She also earned her master's in public health from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Public Health.
She completed her general surgery internship and urology residency at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center, followed by a one-year fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in both female and male urologic reconstructive surgery, and a two-year fellowship at UCLA in Urological Health Services Research. During her fellowship, she received funding from the National Institutes of Health for her research on outcomes of sling surgery for stress urinary incontinence.
Dr. Anger has also served as an Assistant Professor of Urology for both UCLA Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Anger’s NIH-funded research has greatly influenced the field of male and female urology and her many publications have greatly contributed to the field of urology. Her research interests lie primarily in the field of health services outcomes involving female urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Her clinical interests and specialties are focused around female urology/prolapse and male urology/urethral reconstruction.
In addition to English, Dr. Anger is also fluent in Spanish.
