Richard M. Ress, MD
Richard Ress, MD, practices internal medicine and rheumatology with Cedars-Sinai Medical Group and Cedars-Sinai Health Associates.
Dr. Ress earned his medical degree at Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia. He received a bachelor's degree from New York University. His internship was performed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He completed residencies at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he was chief medical resident, and the Veterans Administration Wadsworth Hospital in Los Angeles. He was a post-doctoral fellow in rheumatology of the Arthritis Foundation at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Before joining Cedars-Sinai Medical Group, Dr. Ress was in private practice in Beverly Hills for 20 years. Dr. Ress is associate clinical professor of medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Medicine and visiting professor in the division of rheumatology at Olive View/UCLA Medical Center. He has been clinical chief of the division of rheumatology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; the treasurer and president of the Cedars-Sinai Alumni Association; member of the Clinical Faculty Association of the UCLA School of Medicine; and a founding fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Ress has published papers on various aspects of internal medicine and rheumatology.
