Laboratory Science Programs
More than 10 billion laboratory tests are performed in the United States each year. Thirteen percent of the current laboratory staff is likely to retire in the next five years.
Over 12,000 new laboratory professionals will be needed annually to meet the growing need of the world's population, but only 4,000 to 6,000 graduates each year are targeted to join the workforce in the foreseeable future. Cedars-Sinai is proud to contribute to this pool of healthcare professionals.
