The Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center offers a full spectrum of treatments ranging from traditional surgery to minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Though most people think of elective cosmetic surgery when they hear the words "plastic surgery," many procedures are used in conjunction with serious medical conditions such as cancer, weight loss, laceration repair, breast reconstruction, scar revision, hand surgery and surgery for cranio/maxillofacial abnormalities.
Plastic surgery patients come to Cedars-Sinai because they know that emphasis is placed on a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and minimally invasive techniques are used whenever possible. Our plastic surgeons work closely with all of the programs and centers at Cedars-Sinai, including the Saul and Joyce Brandman Breast Center, the Weight Loss Center, Pediatric Surgical Services, the Orthopaedic Center and others.
The center offers interactive patient education programs, which provide information on many of the plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures performed at the center.
