The Division of Gynecologic Oncology of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars-Sinai provides women with treatment from board-certified gynecologic oncologists.
Our specialists work in close partnership with medical and radiation oncologists, as well as other sub-specialists, when conditions and complications call for further information and experience. Pain management, psychosocial, nutritional and home care teams actively participate in appropriate aspects of each woman's care.
Cedars-Sinai's Gynecologic Oncology staff continually participates in clinical trials sponsored by the National Cancer Institute's Gynecologic Oncology Group and the nation's leading pharmaceutical companies. Clinical trials offer new drugs and treatments that can be made available for eligible patients.
Almost all chemotherapies, transfusions and other treatment procedures can be provided on an outpatient basis at the Comprehensive Cancer Center.
