Urological Surgery Program

Urology Academic Practice

The Urology Academic Practice at Cedars-Sinai focuses on research, teaching and subspecialty urologic care for complex cases and highly specialized procedures. The team fosters collaborative research between scientists and clinicians with the goal of making innovative discoveries available to men and women with challenging urological disorders.

The Urology Academic Practice's team works with the referring physician to determine the best course of treatment for each patient, keeping the referring physician apprised of the patient’s condition. At the appropriate time, the patient is referred back to the referring physician for continued management, while the program's physicians remain available for consultation on the care and management of patients.
