The laboratory conducts highly collaborative and innovative research in the field of transplant biology and immunology. Recent projects have focused on blood-vessel induced expression of the insulin gene in embryonic stem cells (collaboration with Don Dafoe, MD), and defining the immunogenic properties of ESC-derived cells in the hepatic lineage (collaboration with Jeff Fair, MD).
