Research Focus
Applied Health Services Research focused on improving health care and health outcomes for older adults, adults with disabilities, and adults with complex medical conditions.
Research Contributions
Application of comprehensive geriatric assessment to prevention and well aging among able bodied older adults and among adults aging with disabilities (life-long and acquired);
Development of community-based advance practice nurse preventive intervention
Current investigations include:
Development and testing of inpatient and transitional care for frail older adults;
Practice based evidence on rehabilitation outcomes for older adults with hip fracture;
Well-aging with disability
