CSMC users
- Initial Consultation No charge
- Professional Services $100/hr
(development of the experimental design,
IACUC preparation, data analysis, report preparation) - Technician Services $75/hr
(testing carried out by a Core Technician, e.g.,
acclimatizing the animals*, performing the tests,
compiling and organizing the data, training of an
investigator’s technician. Includes the Facility Fee) - Facility Fee $50/hr
(use of the Core facility by an investigator-provided
technician after the completion of adequate training;
or use of the Core facility by funded investigators
who are providing direct financial support for
Professional and/or Technician Services)
Clients are required to fill out a service request form. The Core Director or Associate Director will provide a formal quote for services on an individual basis after evaluating the investigator’s needs. The listed fees are provided as a general guideline. The prices will vary depending on the number of subjects and the time required for testing. Discounts might apply if a battery of tests is requested or an extensive or ongoing project is undertaken.
*For some tests the technician is required to handle the animals for several minutes on a daily basis prior to testing.
