Xiaowei Ding is a PhD student at UCLA in the Computer Science Department, working with Professor Demetri Terzopoulos, and is also a visiting graduate student under the mentorship of Dr. Damini Dey at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center working on the development and validation of automated computational algorithms for cardiac images. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012. His research interests include computer vision, medical image analysis, and computer graphics.

Dongwoo Kang received his Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University and his Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California. He is currently working towards a Doctorate degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Signal and the Image Processing Institute at USC under Professor C.-C. Jay Kuo, and is working as a Graduate Researcher under Dr. Damini Dey at Cedars-Sinai for cardiac CT. His research interests are in the areas of medical image analysis including segmentation, tracking and detection of lesions.
