![]() | Parinaz Aliahmad, PhD Parinaz received her PhD from the Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, California in 2007, under the mentorship of Dr. Kaye. She re-joined Dr. Kaye’s group at CSMC in 2009 and is currently continuing her work on the role of TOX in the immune system. |
![]() | Ananthi Asirvatham, PhD Ananthi received her PhD from Washington State University, Washington. She worked at Roswell Park Cancer Institute on microRNA regulation of immune gene expression before joining the Kaye lab. She is currently working on identifying TOX binding partners that are required for mediating its role in regulating gene expression. |
![]() | Akop Seksenyan Akop attended UCLA,where he was involved in pediatric brain tumor research before receiving his BS in Neuroscience in 2006. He joined the Kaye lab as a graduate student in 2008, and his thesis project focuses on the role of nuclear factor TOX3 in mammary epithelial cells and breast cancer. |
![]() | Corey Seehus Corey received his BS in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he worked on modeling neurodegenerative disease. Before joining CSMC, he worked on development of small molecules for the treatment of depression.He has recently joined the Kaye lab, where he is beginning a project related to T-regulatory cells. |
![]() | Brian de la Torre Brian earned his BS degree from UC San Diego where he double-majored in Psychology and Animal Physiology/Neuroscience. He worked at UC San Diego and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles before joining the Kaye lab in 2009. Brian participates in multiple laboratory projects using cellular and molecular approaches. |
