Research Administration

Research Administration at Cedars-Sinai is a part of the Office of the Dean and is led by Mark Daniel, Vice President for Research Administration. Our goal is to support the Cedars-Sinai faculty and their research programs by creating an environment in which hypotheses can be explored, advancements in medicine can be made and the mission of the institution can be fulfilled. We work with our research faculty, vice deans, department chairs, and research institute directors in a broad spectrum of activities, including coordinating and planning new research initiatives; developing and submitting grant proposals; helping disseminate results and ensure that important work is published; managing grants, contracts, and Cedars-Sinai’s research funding portfolio; and providing research core facilities, space, and support systems.
