Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
Led by some of the nation’s best educators in health science, our programs are at the forefront of translational medicine and healthcare innovation.
The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the Smidt Heart Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and is designed to prepare fellows for a career of leadership and distinction in academic cardiology. Our philosophy is that the most successful physician-scientists must not only be exceptional investigators but also outstanding clinicians and teachers who are proud of their superlative clinical skills. Similarly, the best clinician-educators must not only be exceptional doctors but also accomplished investigators. To reach these goals, the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Training Program combines unparalleled clinical training with world-class research and teaching opportunities.
