Student Rotations & Research

Senior student electives include clinical rotations and sub-internships that provide students with broad experience and in-depth knowledge for diagnosing and managing common and complex problems and diseases. Students learn through inpatient and primary care rotations, working in close contact with full-time and clinical faculty, fellows, residents and interns.

Clinical research electives expose students to clinical, translational and basic science research techniques and methodology with MD mentors. Students learn data collection, critical research analysis and writing, presentation and publishing skills.
