Policies
Operating principles for the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Research Center personnel will be provided to staff for guidance. They will govern maintenance of good communications with collaborators, recording of effort allocations, prioritization of efforts, and professional development.
Governance
Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Research Center is led by the Director in a collegial manner with the advice of the Vice-President of Research Administration, the Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Sciences (DBS) and the Director of the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute (SOCCI). The Director reports to them and prepares an annual report of its activities.

Policies regarding allocation of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Research Center resources and procedures that implement these policies are determined with the advice of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Research Center Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee meets annually to review the budget, evaluate performance and priorities, assess the level of time commitments of personnel, and advise the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Research Center Director about the overall operation. The members of the Advisory Committee will be appointed by the Director of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Research Center, the Chairman of the DBS and the Director of the SOCCI.
