Headache Medicine Fellowship
Led by some of the nation’s best educators in health science, our programs are at the forefront of translational medicine and healthcare innovation.
The Cedars-Sinai Headache Medicine Fellowship Program provides clinical and research training that allows fellows to gain experience in the management of adult/pediatric headache disorders and facial pain. Training focuses on a multidisciplinary outpatient approach to the management of complex headaches and includes dedicated time spent in the chronic pain department, orofacial pain clinic and neurosurgery clinic. In addition to complex medical management, fellows collaborate with pain psychology professionals to better understand how chronic pain conditions can best be addressed in a holistic manner that takes into account comorbidities and techniques such as biofeedback and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Training & Curriculum
Fellows gain comprehensive experience in all facets of the Headache Medicine Fellowship, as well as become proficient in many procedures, including botulinum denervation, peripheral blocks and trigger point injections.
