Program Testimonials

The program has a large volume of cases and variety of excellent cases, including sports and oncology. There is a good mix of diagnostics and intervention, and I felt very well prepared for the specialty."

The volume and variety of cases is a great strength of this program. There are more MSK imaging cases than one fellow could possibly read by himself and this allows the fellow great flexibility in interpreting a broad mix of cases covering all body parts and modalities. The variety of cases is very strong due to an excellent referral base from all clinical disciplines. There is adequate flexibility built in to the program, which allows each fellow the chance to tailor the curriculum to his/her interests and future practice plans. The training I received allowed me to hit the ground running and to feel confident practicing independently from day one."

The Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship is a wonderful program with high-caliber instruction; close relationships with very strong orthopedic and rheumatologic groups; and experiences that cover the scope of musculoskeletal radiology. I read about 2000 MRI and CT cases this year, which is more than sufficient. The number of plain films I read is also more than enough. The stellar orthopedic and rheumatologic groups at Cedars mean that we get a wide variety of cases to learn from. Seeing a large number of cases every day, independently protocoling studies, learning to perform a variety of different procedures and attending the Internal Derangement of Joints conference with Dr. Resnick in San Diego were particularly important in preparing me for the specialty.”
