Clinical Experience

The fellows spend their time between Cedars-Sinai main campus as well as Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.

We have established a meticulous airway program where fellows get trained and signed off on their intubations. They fellows typically get to 200 bronchoscopies per year.

For Cardiac Critical Care Medicine, they typically get to 100 bronchoscopies by the end of the year.

For Cardiac Critical Care Medicine, to ensure that all of the required rotations are met within the year, our trainees will focus their experience at Cedars-Sinai.

Research Opportunities

There are many research mentors to choose from, working in a variety of fields. The fellows can choose to explore and work with them. There are also numerous quality improvement projects that they can participate in. Please refer to “Publications” section to view some of our fellows’ work. There are numerous intramural and extramural funding opportunities available as well.

For Cardiac Critical Care Medicine, as the program is limited to one year, potential projects are discussed with fellows prior to matriculation.
